In southeast Alberta, the Company owns and operates Pekisko oil production at Matziwin. The Company has prepared a development plan for the area and has successfully drilled a low-risk horizontal development well with an open-hole completion in the carbonate reservoir. The Company is evaluating an enhanced stimulation of the horizontal leg of the well. In addition, a second horizontal drilling location has been identified for future development of this high oil-in-place, low recovery factor reservoir.
