The Company owns three sections of land in Buck Lake with working interests ranging from 50% to 100%. The Company and its joint venture partners have drilled two horizontal wells into the Cardium formation that were completed with multistage frac technology. Over the first thirty days, the well at LSD 1-17-45-5W5 flowed at 437 bopd of oil and 925 mcfd of gas (590 boepd). The well at 8-17-45-5w5 flowed at 408 bopd of oil and 861 mcfd of gas (550 boepd) over the same period. The Company has up to 10 additional horizontal well locations to complete full development of the property. Thirty seven horizontal wells targeting the Cardium formation have been drilled and/or licensed within two miles of the Company’s lands since October 1, 2010 in this active extension of the Pembina Cardium field.
