The Company owns a 100% working interest and is operator of nine sections in this producing oil and gas property at Breton in the Pembina area of central Alberta. The Company produces oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids from the Basal Belly River zone and operates a midstream processing facility at the same location. Current production from Breton is approximately 77 boepd and is comprised of 68 barrels of oil per day and 55 mcfd of natural gas. The Company expects to optimize and enhance recovery from this mature waterflood by modifying injection and production well profiles in the fully developed area of the pool to optimize sweep efficiency as well as drilling a combination of horizontal and vertical production and injection wells in the underdeveloped area of the pool. The Company has additional land at Breton which is prospective for Cardium oil and Viking gas development by drilling horizontal wells using multistage frac technology.
