The Company has a highly experienced management team with extensive experience in the energy business, specifically in the western Canadian oil and gas exploration and production sector. The team has broad experience in the public company arena and all are significant Anterra shareholders.

OWEN C. PINNELL, P. Eng., Chairman of the board of directors & C.E.O: Mr. Pinnell is an executive with over 25 years of experience as founder, president, CEO and director of various public and private companies in Canada and the United States. Owen is a mechanical engineer by profession, receiving his engineering education at the Auckland Technical Institute (now ATU) in New Zealand. He is a professional engineer in Canada and has worked extensively in the energy, energy services and technology industries in Canada, United States, England, France, and New Zealand. He was the founder and CEO of Newalta (NAL) and Anadime (acquired by NAL), and more recently Anterra. He has also co-founded several Canadian based public oil and gas companies. Mr. Pinnell is also a director of California based companies Zeacom Inc. and Anterra Energy Services Inc.
W.E. (BILL) JOHNSON, P.Eng., President, C.O.O., and Director: Mr. Johnson brings more than 20 years of experience in senior executive roles with Suncor and EnCana, where he developed strategies and implemented programs for the exploration of conventional and non-conventional oil and gas reserves throughout western Canada. In his previous positions he managed capital budgets of up to $400 million, adding more than 50 mmscfd of gas production. He managed several districts producing between 2,000 and 25,000 boepd, and was responsible for the staffing and exploitation of annual operating budgets ranging from $50 million to $150 million. In his role as manager of acquisition and divestment, he also completed more than $500 million of oil & gas transactions. A member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta, he has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering for the University of Saskatchewan and a Masters in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Calgary.
BOB MCCUAIG, P. Eng., Vice President Operations: Mr. McCuaig is a professional engineer with a strong operating background in the oil and gas and energy services business. He also has extensive experience as a manager and executive in the transportation, energy, and oil & gas sectors. Prior to joining Anterra, Mr. McCuaig was Vice President, Engineering & Business Development for Anadime Corporation, a TSX listed company. In this role Mr. McCuaig developed skills in business and financial analysis and brings this experience to Anterra where in addition to managing the Company’s oil and gas operations, he also assists with corporate and asset acquisitions.
DOUG WINE, P. Geol., Chief Geologist: Mr. Wine has had an extensive career in the oil and gas industry, working for many years in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin with major oil and gas companies including Amoco Canada, Canada Cities Services, and Texas Pacific Oils. In 1981, Mr. Wine co-founded and was President of Montney Resources Ltd., which was sold to AC Energy Inc. in 1986. In 1993, he co-founded Jet Energy Inc. where he held the position of Vice President of Exploration until the company was sold to Cabre Exploration in 1999. Subsequently, Mr. Wine was Vice President of Exploration and a director of Spearhead Resources Inc. until its merger with Arctos Petroleum Corp. in 2003. Prior to joining Anterra, in 2006, Mr. Wine provided contract geological services to a number of active junior exploration companies in Canada. Mr. Wine has a strong reputation as a proven oil and natural gas finder and has many significant discoveries to his credit.
GILES PARKER, C.A., Vice President Finance: Mr. Parker is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years experience in the energy sector. Prior to joining Anterra, Giles provided independent financial consulting services to a number of companies in the energy sector. He previously held the position of Vice President, Finance and Administration for Altrade Canada Inc, formerly QuickTrade Canada Inc; was Treasurer for Bow Valley Energy Inc; and has held various finance and treasury positions with Bow Valley, Dome Petroleum and Hudson’s Bay Oil & Gas.
SHEILA MCKINLEY, Controller: Ms. McKinley is a financial executive with over 20 years of experience in the energy and energy services sector. She brings extensive knowledge and experience in the accounting, administration, oil and gas production accounting and human resource areas to the Anterra team. Prior to joining Anterra, Ms. McKinley served in several roles, including Chief Accountant and Human Resources Manager, at TSX listed Anadime Corporation and Newalta Corporation.
